XMPlaySecret 2.1 build 20 (14/4/2005)

Important note: XMPlaySecret is currently not compatible with XMPlay 3.3 or later.

What is it?

It's a utility that lets you change the secret settings in XMPlay, hence the name XMPlaySecret. It can be used to customise hidden aspects of XMPlay, or solve some problems.

What do I need?

You need the Windows Installer (recent versions of Windows should already have this), and XMPlay of course. You will also need the Visual Basic 6.0 runtimes if you don't have them (most systems will already have them installed).

Where do I get it from?

Here (about 60 KB).

How do I install it?

Unzip the file, and double-click on the MSI file inside. If it doesn't work then the most likely thing is that you don't have the Windows Installer.

Known bugs

• The playlist-related functions only work with global playlists, not per-user ones
• XMPlaySecret currently is not compatible with XMPlay 3.3 or later
